MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said on Wednesday that the Angat Dam was above its normal high water level (NHWL) of 212 meters (m).
The dam, located within the Angat Watershed Forest Reserve in Barangay San Lorenzo, Norzagaray, Bulacan, is the main source of potable water and irrigation for Metro Manila and adjoining provinces.
