MANILA, Philippines — Kris Aquino is finally gaining weight as she continues to fight her autoimmune diseases.

In an Instagram post, vlogger and Aquino’s friend, Lou “Mama Loi” Villarama, said the erstwhile ‘Queen of All Media’ has reached her heaviest weight since returning to the Philippines in September 2024.

“Her weight is now three digits! She now weighs 106 lbs!” Villarama shared.

The number marks a significant jump from Aquino’s previous weight. It can be recalled that fans were alarmed when Aquino posted photos in March showing her frail frame and revealed that she weighed less than 80 pounds (only 36 kilos).

Villarama — who also appears in Ogie Diaz’s online show “Showbiz Update” — detailed that turon (banana and jackfruit wrapped in spring roll wrappers), mangoes, lychees, orange juice, and a brand of nutritional drink mixed with carabao’s milk and ice cream appear to be helping Aquino gain more weight. Daim — a Swedish brand of chocolate bar — is also described as her “happiness booster.”

But above all, Villarama attributes Aquino’s improving health to her son.

“Bimb has been her source of strength and I am in awe of how loving and dedicated he is in taking care of his mom.”

In ending, Villarama rallied Aquino’s supporters to continue praying for her recovery.

Some celebrities extended their well wishes to Aquino through Villarama’s comment section.

Actress Lotlot de Leon wrote, “@krisaquino blessings of good health be upon you! God bless you, Kris!”

Actor Wendell Ramos also wrote, “God bless you Ms. Kris.”

Villarama earlier shared that Aquino is “in a safe place by the beach” and that the “vitamin sea” is doing her good.
