MANILA, Philippines — More and more men are now are into skincare and beauty treatments, a skin clinic said.

In an interview with the media, Glow Skin Clinic president Camille Padilla said that she saw the changes in recent years.

“Oo, ang dami na ngayon,” she said.

“The percentage of men going to the clinic now and doing these treatments is really increasing. When we opened in 2018, we’re seeing probably a few, maybe one out of 10. But now, probably like four out of 10,” she added.

The clinic’s head of marketing, Caitlin Gonzalez, echoed Padilla’s sentiments, saying skincare is for everyone.

“For me, it’s good. It’s not that men are conscious, but it’s more of they’re taking care of their skin and their appearance because it makes them happy,” she said.

“That’s really nice, skincare is not just for women. Now that guys are getting treatments, I think it’s really good,” she added.

Glow Skin Clinic recently unveiled its latest addition to its line-up of advanced, non-invasive treatments: Exion and Emface — two technologies by BTL Aesthetics that redefine skin rejuvenation and facial contouring.

Exion is a multi-modal device that uses radiofrequency and targeted ultrasound to deliver deep-tissue skin tightening, improved collagen remodeling, and even fat reduction — without needles or downtime.

Emface, on the other hand, is a needle-free treatment that simultaneously lifts facial muscles and smoothens wrinkles by stimulating both muscles and skin — offering a facelift-like effect in just 20 minutes.
