MANILA, Philippines — Two more restaurant concepts by celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay have landed in the Philippines, this time in Mactan Island, Cebu.
Gordon Ramsay Fish & Chips and Street Burger by Gordon Ramsay both opened their doors in Lapu-lapu City’s The Mactan Newton last July 26.
This is the first Gordon Ramsay Fish & Chips outside of the United States and the first Street Burger by Gordon Ramsay in Asia.
The former is an over-the-counter style restaurant with fast-casual flair that serves variations of the British classic it takes its name from.
Street Burger by Gordon Ramsay, which is located right beside it, is a different take on the classic American diner. It features a menu that includes the Idiot Burger, the G.F.C. (Gordon’s Fried Chicken) Burger, and the O.G.R. Burger.
Both new restaurants join the Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill Philippines, which opened in Newport World Resorts last year.
Gordon himself visited the Philippines earlier this year to meet with Filipino diners and shower praises about the local cuisine.
