‘Okay Ka, Fairy Ko’ actor Bayani Casimiro Jr. dies at 57

Actor and comedian Bayani Casimiro Jr., best known for his role as Prinsipe K in the hit fantasy sitcom Okay Ka, Fairy Ko!, passed away on July 25 due to cardiac arrest. He was 57.

His sister, Marilou Casimiro, confirmed the news through entertainment writer Jojo Gabinete.

Casimiro Jr. rose to fame in the late 1980s as part of Okay Ka, Fairy Ko!, starring alongside Vic Sotto.

He later became a fixture in the Enteng Kabisote movie franchise, appearing in several installments from 2004 to 2010.

Casimiro Jr. was the son of the legendary dancer and actor Bayani Casimiro Sr., known as the “Fred Astaire of the Philippines.”

His wake is being held at St. Peter’s Memorial Chapel in Parañaque City. Cremation is scheduled for July 30 at Loyola Memorial Park.
