MANILA, Philippines — Filipino-American stand-up comedian Jo Koy is the latest celebrity to get a tattoo from national icon Apo Whang-Od.
On his Instagram account, Jo Koy posted photos of him travelling to Buscalan, Kalinga and getting inked by the celebrated tattoo artist.
“I’ve been blessed by the legend,” Jo Koy captioned the post. “Mahal kita Apo Whang-Od.”

Last year, a video of Whang-Od grabbing Piolo Pascual’s crotch went viral on social media.
Celebrities such as Piolo, Zeinab Harake, Rhian Ramos, Michelle Dee, and Ryzza Mae Dizon have travelled to Buscalan to get a tattoo from Whang-od over the years.
