MANILA, Philippines — New Star Magic artist Carmella Ford does not have her family’s popularity on her mind after signing with the label.
Carmella, the daughter of Karla Estrada and sister of Daniel Padilla, said during her contract signing last July 25 that her family is just like ordinary family.
“Well, kami po kasi sa house with family, we don’t really think about that (popularity). Pag nasa house kami, walang ‘we’re a famous family,’ wala pong ganon,” Carmella said.
“I just stay focus on my own growth and I just surround myself for people who keep me grounded,” she added.
Karla accompanied her daughter Carmella, who was named in the Mythical Six of the most recent Star Magic All-Star Games, to the contract
“I hope to grow and to prove myself, and to create my own path here in the industry,” said Carmella, expressing her dream of taking action-packed roles.
