The most active volcano on the western Indonesian island of Sumatra has erupted.
Sped-up footage shows Mount Marapi spewing a huge tower of ash 3km (around 10,000ft) into the air, as authorities raised the alert to the second-highest level. The volcanic ash spread widely and blanketed roads and cars.
At least 11 climbers were found dead following the eruption, a rescue official said, and a search to find 12 more missing was temporarily stopped over safety concerns.
