EastEnders star Tracy-Ann Oberman plays Shakespeare’s Shylock

Tracy-Ann Oberman is playing Shylock in Shakespeare’s classic The Merchant of Venice, as the play is transported to 1930s London.

The production is set in east London against the backdrop of the Battle of Cable Street. Oberman told BBC London’s Sonja Jessup why that area of London was so important to her.
