“I am proud of everyone at the Red Cross because we get the job done. However, I always remind my team that we must not be complacent. We’re just starting, and there’s a lot to be done,” Gordon said.

Gordon praised the dedication of the PRC’s 2 million volunteers nationwide, emphasizing their embodiment of values and underscoring the organization’s commitment to ongoing improvement and readiness in humanitarian efforts.

Gwen Pang, PRC secretary-general, reaffirmed the organization’s mission to alleviate human suffering and uphold the dignity of vulnerable populations, emphasizing their preparedness in disaster response and emergencies.
