President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Thursday said the government had allotted P10 billion for the Philippine Rural Development Plan in Region 4-A (Calabarzon) from 2023 to 2024.
The President reported the budget was allocated to develop major projects and programs to boost the economy of Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, and Quezon.
“However, more than just these help and services, we continue to work to strengthen the economy of Calabarzon,” Mr. Marcos said.
He highlighted ongoing projects, including the Taal Lake Circumferential Road, Lobo Malabrigo-San Juan Laiya Road, Quipot Irrigation Project, and Macalelon Irrigation Project.
The Chief Executive praised the resilience of Batangueños facing the El Niño phenomenon and promised continued government support.
“My dear fellow countrymen, we will overcome all these if we continue to help each other,” Marcos said.
“You can trust that we will continue to support you. Let’s journey together towards a more prosperous future – the future of the New Philippines,” he added.
