MANILA, Philippines — The fans of BINI and SB19, also called Blooms and A’TINs, erupted into cheers as Nation’s Girl Group and the Kings of P-pop shared the stage during Puregold’s “Nasa Atin ang Panalo” thanksgiving concert at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, Cubao, Quezon City.
The P-pop girl group first took the stage with their song Lagi, Huwag Muna Tayong Umuwi, followed by their hit songs Salamin, Salamin and Pantropiko.
BINI finished their set with Ang Huling Cha Cha.
“Ganito pala feeling dito sa Araneta. Parang hinahanda tayo para sa grand ‘BINIverse.’ Maraming salamat sa suportang pinararamdam n’yo,” BINI Jhoanna said.
“Grabe ‘yung crowd tonight! Grabe ‘yung energy!” BINI Aiah added.
When the girls performed one of their hit songs Salamin, Salamin, they surprised the crowd with SB19 member Justin joining them stage.
“Sobra akong kinabahan kasi finally nag-debut na ako, BINI Justin po. Bye-bye SB19, salamat! Joke lang, Eyyy!” Justin said in jest before doing the viral hand gesture of BINI Sheena.
“Gusto ko lang magpasalamat na sinama n’yo ako sa inyong performance. Syempre gusto ko rin i-congratulate ‘yung sa inyo,” he added.
While talking to his fellow SB19 members on stage, Justin couldn’t help but comment on the once-in-a-lifetime experience with BINI members.
“Alam n’yo super overwhelming… Maraming, maraming salamat BINI,” Justin said.
“Sa totoo lang po, matagal na n’yang gusto talaga,” Stell added.
Meanwhile, SB19 owned the stage and left no crumbs as they performed Gento, Moonlight, I want you, Mapa, and Crimzone.
Fans went insane as BINI members Stacey, Colet, Sheena and Gwen danced and performed the SB19’s megahit Gento during the group’s opening number.
“It became more memorable because BINI joined us,” Justin noted.
“This is not the first time. Masaya lang ‘yung ngayon bumabalik talaga. Angatan talaga. Makita ng mga tao, masaya talaga nagtutulungan. P-pop rise,” BINI Colet said.
Additionally, SB19 trio Pablo, Ken, and Josh also joined Flow G during the rapper’s performance of High Score. Skusta Clee and GLOC-9 also performed with Flow G.
In the same event, SB19 announced the theatrical release of PAGTATAG! The Documentary, showing in cinemas nationwide on Aug. 28.
The documentary will showcase the group’s journey as they move forward to a “new era of music, career, and emancipation.” It is co-produced by First Light Studios and the SB19-owned 1Z Entertainment under the direction of Jed Regala.
Towards the end of the three-hour show, BINI (including Mikha, who wasn’t able to perform earlier due to a knee injury), SB19 and Flow G went up on stage to sing their OPM collaboration with Puregold titled Nasa Atin ang Panalo.
Original Pilipino Music (OPM) artists Esay Belanio, Letters from June, and Kahel also performed at the event.
The star-studded OPM concert was part of Puregold’s thanksgiving concert as it marked its 25 years in the industry with 500 stores nationwide.
