Oil firms to lower fuel prices

Oil companies announced on Monday that they will lower fuel prices after four straight weeks of price increases.

Shell and Seaoil said that gasoline prices will go down by P0.60 per liter and diesel by P0.95 per liter.

The cost of kerosene will be reduced by P1.15 per liter.

The price adjustments will take effect on Tuesday, July 16, 2024.

Last week, oil companies raised the prices of gasoline, diesel and kerosene by P1.60, P0.65 and P0.60 per liter, respectively.
