About 300 persons deprived of liberty (PDLs) were evacuated after a fire broke out in a residential area in Santa Cruz, Manila on Thursday evening.
According to a report on “Saksi,” the PDLs were detained in a male dormitory at the Manila City Jail when the fire occurred.
