PTFC Redevelopment Corp. on Wednesday announced a leadership change following the resignation of Chairman and President Bienvenido Tan III effective on July 15.
In a disclosure, the domestic leasing company said that former Finance secretary Carlos Dominguez had been elected to take the positions vacated by Tan.
Dominguez previously served as director, chairman and president of the company from 1992 until his appointment to the government in 2016.
PTFC said that Tan’s resignation was due to personal reasons. He served as chairman and president since 2016, taking over from Dominguez.
Dominguez also served as agriculture and environment secretary from 1986 to 1989.
He also served as CEO and chairman of Philippine Airlines from 1993 to 1995 and later led the Philippine Associated Smelting and Refining Corp. as president and chairman from 1999 to 2002.
