A gathering of grace, glamour, and good company unfolded at Chef Jessie in Rockwell as Honorary Consul General of Monaco, Fortune Aleta Ledesma, hosted an elegant afternoon tea. Guests arrived wearing exquisite fascinators, setting a stylish tone for the occasion.
The guest of honor was Romanian Ambassador to the Philippines, Her Excellency Raduta Matache. Elegant and engaging, Ambassador Matache brought warmth and charm to the table. Meanwhile, Rotary International District 3810, under the leadership of District Governor Mary Mei Rodrigo, conducted a successful relief operation for communities affected by Typhoons Crising and Dante on July 22 to 23.
The operation began at the Multinational Village Covered Court, which served as the main distribution hub. Aid was then delivered to evacuation centers in Manila and Pasay, followed by outreach efforts in Cavite and Occidental Mindoro.
In total, relief assistance reached Multinational Village Evacuation Center and six evacuation centers across Manila and Cavite.
The coordinated effort reflects Rotary’s ongoing commitment to community service — standing united in compassion and action during times of crisis.
