MANILA, Philippines — Trevor Magallanes, the former husband of comedienne and actress Rufa Mae Quinto, has passed away.
While no official statement has been released regarding the cause or circumstances of his death, Quinto took to Instagram to post a series of photos of their family. Her friends and colleagues from the industy then sent condolences and support in her comments section.
“Sending you so much love. I’m so sorry for your loss,” commented actress Maxene Magalona.
“Yakap na mahigpit Peachy,” said Christine Babao.
Alessandra de Rossi added simply, “Love you.”

Jaya wrote, “Mare I don’t know what to say…please read my dm.”
Magallanes, a financial analyst who also served in the US Airforce before, confirmed in December 2024 that he and Quinto were in the process of divorcing.
“Hey guys, I felt like I need to explain myself based on social media and all that. I want to make myself clear that Rufa Mae and I are in the process of a divorce,” Magallanes said in an Instagram story at the time.
“You may be aware that divorce can be very devastating to the children but also to the parents. That said, my marriage has been a shit show and I am sorry for that,” he added
“All that matters to me at this time is getting through the divorce as best as I can and spending time with Athena. Happy holidays!”
Quinto and Magallanes met during one of her visits to the US in 2016 and tied the knot on November 25 of the same year in Quezon City. The couple welcomed their daughter, Athena, on February 18, 2017.
Quinto has since moved back to the Philippines and is working in showbiz again.
