A CRITICAL global need for billions of dollars for emergency disaster response and rescue is on track to be realized with the launch of the radical $10-billion Project Rescue Disaster Relief Unification Fund.
The unprecedented “mega fund” has been backed by international Australian firm Public Safety Training and Response Group, which also has response operations in the United Kingdom and the United States of America — within eight hours response time for disasters anywhere on the planet.
According to a spokesman from the organization, Project Rescue will be a “smart, forward-looking solution… that will transform emergency response.” The group’s report noted that currently, government and nongovernment organizations (NGOs) are “increasingly stretched,” making response funding “inconsistent for years.”

One reason for this is the fivefold increase of reported natural disasters in the past 50 years. The report noted that these calamities today “cost the global economy upwards of $400 billion annually.”
The group’s report promises that the Disaster Relief Unification Fund will bring “revolutionary change to disaster response globally — it reveals that the future of saving lives lies in radical collaboration, decentralized infrastructure and bold innovation.”
The Disaster Relief Unification Fund is open to partnerships with governments, NGOs, tech innovators and blockchain philanthropists who share a vision for a more resilient world. It will enable investors to “contribute to a meaningful cause while engaging in a high-impact financial ecosystem.
