MANILA, Philippines — The country’s biggest and brightest stars gathered Saturday night at the Marriott Grand Ballroom for the GMA Gala 2025, a landmark celebration marking the Kapuso Network’s 75th anniversary.
GMA Network President Gilberto R. Duavit Jr. welcomed guests to the black-tie affair with a speech that reflected on the network’s journey from a humble radio station in 1950 to a multifaceted media powerhouse.
“Tonight, we gather to celebrate both a milestone and a legacy, one that has been built on excellence, shared passion, integrity and service,” Duavit said, addressing the glittering crowd of celebrities, executives, industry partners, and loyal supporters. He paid tribute to the thousands of “Kapusos” who have gone the extra mile over the decades, calling them the heart of GMA.

On the red carpet, the network’s top talents made a dazzling show of glamour. Power couple Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera turned heads with their signature elegance, while Heart Evangelista, accompanied by her husband, Senate President Chiz Escudero, brought high fashion to the night. Alden Richards, Barbie Forteza, David Licauco, and Dennis Trillo with Jennylyn Mercado also drew cheers from fans and photographers.
Celebrities from ABS-CBN were also in attendance, among them Vice Ganda, Robi Domingo, and Alexa Ilacad — a continuing tradition in recent years, thanks to collaborations between the two networks on select shows. Their presence highlighted the industry’s growing spirit of partnership and mutual celebration.

Duavit acknowledged the invaluable role of shareholders, advertisers, and partners in GMA’s growth, as well as the loyalty of Kapuso viewers. “You welcomed us into your homes, your lives, and your hearts,” he said. “Ours is a bond that drives us to always be better at what we do.”
Looking ahead, he vowed that GMA will “continue to evolve, innovate and strengthen its presence in every platform” while staying true to its promise of “Serbisyong Totoo” to Filipinos worldwide.
